SUMMARY:Weekend Course: Buttercream Mini Cat Cake Class
DESCRIPTION:This is a two session course that takes place on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
In this buttercream flower and cake class you will learn:

How to make make buttercream
How to get the correct buttercream consistency to pipe flowers
How to cover a cake in buttercream with a smooth, professional finish
How a petal nozzle works (Korean nozzles)
How to pipe buttercream Chrysanthemums, Roses and leaves
How to arrange and attach your flowers to a cake
How to complete the cat face on your cake
How to store and transport buttercream flowers and cakes

 
This class includes:

Professional tuition by Grace Stevens
All materials you will need to make your Mini Cat cake
Access to tools, dusting powders, apron and other equipment
Tea, Coffee and light snacks
A box in which to take your cake home
Your completed class project

Session One:  Friday 24 July  2026 18:00 to 21:00

Levelling, filling and crumb coating
covering in buttercream with a smooth, proffessional finish

Session Two:  Saturday 25 July 2026 09:30 to 14:30

Piping buttercream flowers
creating the cat face
assembling flowers and placing onto cake
finishing touches

This class is great for enthusiastic decorators and also for those that want to start their decorating journey.
There is lots to be learnt in class for all abilities.
Class is limited to 6 students.
