Ingredients

 300 g cake flour
 300 g oats
 30 ml cinnamon
 300 g butter
 10 ml syrup
 10 ml bicarbonate of soda
 10 ml milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 180⁰C and grease two cookie trays.

Melt butter with syrup and add Bicarb.

Combine dry ingredients.

Add butter mixture to dry ingredients and add milk. Mix well.

Press cookie dough firmly together with your hands to shape and place onto cookie sheet.

Flatten dough slightly with the back of a spoon or fork.

Bake for 10 – 15 Minutes and allow to cool on a wire rack.
